North of The Netherlands... priceless freedom

The north of the Netherlands is a true watersports paradise. Friesland has beautiful lakes and unique natural resources to relax in while sailing. The Wadden Sea has UNESCO World Heritage status. Visit Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog... pearls of islands, piece by piece. Taste the fresh air, the salt on your lips. The IJsselmeer (the former South sea) has in fact become a sheltered sea basin. It offers beautiful destinations, such as the historic harbor towns of Enkhuizen and Hoorn, full of cozy authentic streets, shops, galleries, terraces and restaurants. Around the Marken peninsula, you can reach the former fortress island of Pampus, rustic Durgerdam or an uninhabited island off the Muider coast. The former South sea towns of Hindeloopen and Stavoren offer beautiful marinas to go back in time and have a delicious bite.

East of The Netherlands... gems along the Hanseatic route

Beautiful old trading towns can be reached from the Gelderland river area. Moor at the ports of Zaltbommel, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Deventer or Zutphen and discover the liveliness that Gelderland has to offer. Towards the north- east you sail to the Veluwemeer, a real attraction for watersports enthusiasts. From the lake you can reach the Hanseatic towns of Harderwijk, Elburg and the fishing village of Spakenburg. In the national parks De Wieden and Weerribben you can enjoy boating and lie quietly in the middle of nature. There are plenty of marinas, such as Giethoorn, Zwolle, Kampen and Blokzijl with their beautiful historic harbors. In addition to the nature reserves that are crossed by water, there are slow-flowing rivers where you can make beautiful quiet trips. Think of the Overijsselse Vecht slowly meandering through the beautiful landscape. Piece by piece gems!

South- west of The Netherlands... water, water, water

The Delta knows no borders, with its lakes and open waters it offers a wonderfully varied sailing area. The rich hinterland also makes your trip unforgettable, it is made for cyclists, walkers and horse riders. The Grevelingenmeer has numerous islands where you can moor for a picnic or a free overnight stay. It is known for its clean and clear salty water, where you can even spot seals, flamingos and porpoises! Due to its tides, the Oosterschelde is very characteristic water, so a little more experience is needed for sailing. The Zeeland Bridge and the Oosterscheldekering are icons of Zeeland. Visit places like Willemstad, Brouwershaven, Scharendijke, Zierikzee, Goes, Middelburg and Veere. Moor off in Yerseke and enjoy the locally grown delicious mussels and oysters. All natural beauty, iconic waterways, freedom and delicious food!

South of The Netherlands... cruise along river De Maas

River De Maas is the common thread of your trip. It is a beautiful and quiet route, where you pass several beautiful and small locks. Because you mainly sail along low banks, you have a good view of the beautiful landscapes and the many villages you pass on your way to the Limburg capital Maastricht, such as Nederweert, Weert, Roermond, historic Wessem, Stevensweert and Thorn. The Maasplassen are the pearl of Central Limburg. It is a vast, continuous network of large and small pools that originated as gravel holes that have been transformed into a beautiful water recreation area. They offer attractive opportunities for relaxation, food and drinks. You can swim, surf, sail, kayak, wakeboard and waterski. There is something for everyone to experience!
